Directions to Powerhouse and Energy Institute
The Powerhouse Energy Campus is located north of the main CSU campus. The Powerhouse is home to the Engines and Energy Conversion Lab, The Energy Institute, The Center for New Energy Economy, and much more. For those using a GPS, the best address is 430 N. College Ave., Fort Collins, CO 80524.
Note: Event and tour parking is located just south of the facility at the Vavoline and Art Center parking lots. For those using a GPS, the best address to use for event or tour parking is 410 N. College Ave., Fort Collins, CO 80524.
From I-25, traveling north or south
These directions apply to visitors using I-25 to reach Fort Collins, such as those traveling from the Denver area or Cheyenne, WY.
- Use exit 269B, Mulberry Road.
- Head west and continue on Mulberry Road for about 4 miles.
- Turn right on S. College Ave. and continue north
- Turn right into the parking lot at 430 N. College Ave. – just past Willox St.
For event or tour parking
- Turn right into the parking lot at 430 N. College Ave. – just past Willox St.
- Turn into the Art Center parking lot. Use the sidewalk along College Ave. to walk to the Powerhouse (just north of the parking lot).
From College Ave., traveling north
These directions apply to visitors traveling on College Ave., U.S. 287 from the Loveland area.
- Travel north on College Ave.
- Continue through Old Town.
- Turn right into the Powerhouse parking lot at 430 N. College Ave. – just past Willox St.
For event or tour parking
- Turn right on Willox Street.
- Turn into the Art Center parking lot. Use the sidewalk along College Ave. to walk to the Powerhouse (just north of the parking lot).
Parking is limited at the Powerhouse. Event and tour parking located at the Valvoline and Art Center parking lot at 410 N. College Ave. Fort Collins, CO 80524 which is just one block south of the Powerhouse. To get to the parking lot, turn right on Willox Street from College Ave. The Art Center is immediately on your left.
