Directions to the Transfer Student Center
Transfer students are welcomed directly at the Transfer Student Center (TILT Building) using the same directions. All other visitors taking part in daily information sessions, daily tours, or just dropping by should start at the University Welcome Center, also known as Ammons Hall. For those using a GPS, the best address is 711 Oval Drive, Fort Collins, CO 80521.
From I-25, traveling north or south
These directions apply to visitors using I-25 to reach Fort Collins, such as those traveling from the Denver area or Cheyenne, WY.
- Use exit 268, Prospect Road.
- Head west and continue on Prospect Road for about 4 miles.
- Turn right on S. College Ave.
- Continue straight for about 0.8 miles.
- Turn left on Laurel Street and continue for about 0.1 miles.
- Turn left at Howes St.
- As you enter campus, continue to the right on the Oval. The Welcome Center and the TILT Building will be directly to your right.
From College Ave., traveling north
These directions apply to visitors traveling on College Ave., U.S. 287 from the Loveland area.
- Travel north on College Ave. until you reach E Laurel Street.
- Turn left on Laurel Street and continue for about 0.1 miles.
- Turn left at Howes St.
- As you enter campus, continue to the right on the Oval. The Welcome Center and the TILT Building will be directly to your right.
Once you have reached the Welcome Center and Transfer Student Center, visitors are invited to park in the spaces in front of the building, or in lots 315 and 310 directly west of the buildings. In the case that these lots are full, follow the road right to Laurel Street and turn right. Continue on Laurel until you reach Mason Street. Turn right and park in lots 325, 330, 332, or 335.
